Dinosaur is 100% genuine, with restoration to ribs & spinous processes (ribs are recreated instead of incorporating fragments, for best result).

 

 

Includes artificial rock, satin black finished wood display base & brass ID plaque.

Invisibly mounted, the metal armature is inside the bones or where external, color matched to the bone - all vertebrae are internally mounted!

 Having taken 2 weeks to prepare, this specimen represents a very high standard of life like, realistic pose, invisibly mounted real dinosaur!

Wielding a sharp parrot like beak, powerful jaws and on either side of the head - cheek horns, they were highly successful; the most abundant dinosaur of its time!

Dating to the Cretaceous, the dinosaur was excavated in the Jiufotang Formation, Meileyingenzi,  Liaoning Province, N.E. China.

 

Now scientists have  begun to piece together the amazing discoveries of recent times - from the many species of the Psittacosaur Family, the extraordinary numbers of young produced each mating season, their complex social structure to incredible excavations of specimens with preserved skin and even 8" long quill like structures!
